Dr. Lapinski teamed up with Jenaleigh, MSW, MS Ed., LCSW, and Heather, MA, LCPC, to form Wellness Transformed, a 501(c) nonprofit that empowers marginalized communities through holistic wellness initiatives, addressing both physical and mental health. Guided by principles of advocacy and social justice, we prioritize autonomy and belonging while honoring diverse identities. We create inclusive spaces that address systemic barriers and build pathways to thriving lives through strategic partnerships and community-driven programs.
We partnered with the Ludden Speech and Language Clinic at Saint Xavier University to improve access to speech-language pathology services. The clinic offers various services, including fluency, language, voice, and support for the transgender community in voice and communication.
We often work with our local PFLAG chapter to educate and spread awareness about healthcare for the Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming (TGNC) community. PFLAG is the nation's largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
The Campaign for Southern Equality runs the Southern Equality Fund and is working to build a South where LGBTQ+ people are equal in every part of life. At this unprecedented time of anti-LGBTQ+ attacks – and as public support for LGBTQ equality across the South continues to grow – we invite you to join us in Meeting the Moment in the LGBTQ South.
